Waiting with bated breath,

For love that hasn’t found me yet,

Waiting patiently for true love to pursue,

Not compromising, no matter how much I want to,

Waiting on those hands that hold,

Hold me tight through the night when I’m cold,

Waiting for your sweet loving embrace,

At the end of a long blessed chase,

Waiting for your gentle caress,
